The gear hobbing machine is a widely used gear processing machine tool, capable of cutting straight and helical cylindrical gears, as well as worm gears and sprockets. It is extensively applied in various mechanical manufacturing industries, including automotive, tractor, machine tool, construction machinery, mining equipment, metallurgical machinery, petroleum, instruments, and aerospace.
Operation Instructions for Gear Hobbing Machine
During gear hobbing, the height between the blank bottom surface and the worktable must not be lower than the machine tool's specified height.
2. Clean the tool holder, holder bracket, holder washer, and tool hole before installation. When installing the milling cutter, insert the appropriate key.
The diameter of the wheel blank spacer should be less than 3 millimeters smaller than the root circle diameter of the gear being machined.
When adjusting the angle of the knife holder, be mindful of the holder's downward movement.
5. Prior to cutting, inspect the adjustment area according to the specifications of the processed gear.
6. When machining helical gears, ensure the workpiece is securely clamped to prevent rotation during the cutting process. Do not collide with the turret, do not disassemble the feed screw, and retract the tool when raising the turret.
7. When starting the machine, ensure the milling cutter does not collide with the workpiece. When exiting, maintain a reasonable distance to avoid the cutter holder hitting the worktable.
8. The module and diameter of the machined gears must not exceed the technical specifications of the machine tool.
When hanging the wheel, disconnect the power supply.
