Load Indicator (Angle Disc, also known as Weight Limit Switch)
The angle indicator, mounted at the base of the boom near the driving position, varies with the boom's elevation angle, reflecting the angle between the boom and the ground. Knowing the elevation angle at different boom positions, referring to the crane's performance table and curves, one can determine the span value, lifting capacity, lifting height, and other reference values at a specific elevation angle.
(2) Overtravel Limit Switch (also known as a High-Limit Switch)
A device installed on the end of the boom with a pulley block to limit the lifting height of the hook head, preventing overwind accidents. It ensures that an alarm signal is automatically emitted or the power source is cut off to stop the lifting when the hook reaches the limit position, to prevent overwind.
Torque Limiter
The torque limiter is a device that automatically disconnects the lifting or telescoping power source when the load torque reaches the rated lifting torque, and emits a prohibitory alarm signal. It is a limiter designed to prevent the load from causing the crane to become unstable.
(4) Anti-reverse arm rod device and back rod bracket
The anti-backset device for the arm boom and the anti-sway bracket prevent the boom from rising further when it reaches the maximum allowable tilt angle. This feature stops the boom from tilting back when the tilt angle is too great.
