Acoustic testing pipes, in addition to serving as detection channels and replacing part of the steel reinforcement cross-section, can also be used as pipes for grouting at the pile bottom. Tests have proven that piles treated with grout at the pile bottom can significantly enhance their bearing capacity. Moreover, acoustic testing pipes can also act as conduits for cleaning and grouting treatment of accident piles, at which point measures must be taken to penetrate the pipeline at the defect areas requiring grouting.

Ultrasonic transmission method testing requires the following overall standards for the sound testing tube: firm and secure joints without disconnection, sealed without leakage; smooth and flat tube walls without bends, even without deformation; the tube body is vertical without tilting; and the interior is clear without any foreign objects.

Poor material or installation of sonic logging pipes may result in accidents such as leakage, pipe blockage, breakage, bending, sinking, and deformation, which greatly affect the integrity testing of pile foundations using the ultrasonic pulse-echo method, and may even prevent the detection from being performed.
