Seamless steel pipe production technology is simple, with high efficiency, low cost, and rapid development. The strength of spiral-welded pipe is generally higher than that of seamless pipe, allowing for larger diameter pipes to be produced from narrower billets. It can also produce pipes of different diameters using the same width of billets. However, compared to straight seam pipes of the same length, the weld length increases by 30~99%, and the production speed is slower.
