Thick steel plates generally have the same steel grades as thin steel plates. In terms of types, except for varieties such as bridge steel plates, boiler steel plates, steel plates for automotive manufacturing, pressure vessel steel plates, and multi-layer high-pressure vessel steel plates, which are purely thick plates, some steel plate varieties like automotive beam steel plates (thickness 2.5~10mm), patterned steel plates (thickness 2.5~8mm), stainless steel plates, and heat-resistant steel plates are intermingled with thin plates.
Additionally, there are different materials for steel plates; not all steel plates are the same. The material varies, and so does the application of the steel plate.
