The bevel gear piston pump has an early opening and a mature structure. Compared to the bevel plate axial piston pump, the bevel gear piston pump typically consists of main components such as the cylinder block, cylinder plunger, oil distribution plate, main shaft, variable organization, bearings, and housing. In contrast, the bevel plate axial piston pump usually comprises main components like the piston, slide shoe, oil distribution plate, and cylinder block. Let's take a closer look at the differences between the two.
The plunger in the inclined-axis piston pump is driven by connecting rods, resulting in a minimal radial force. This allows the angle between the drive shaft and the cylinder axis to reach up to 25°, but has now increased to 40°, thereby increasing the pump's displacement. In contrast, the tilt angle of the斜盘式轴向柱塞泵is constrained by radial force and typically does not exceed 20°.
2. The cylinder experiences a very small overturning moment, with the cylinder end face fitting evenly with the oil distribution disk, resulting in minimal leakage and high volumetric power; and minimal friction loss, leading to high mechanical power.
3. Structurally stable, with excellent shock-absorbing performance.
4. Due to the significant axial and radial forces that the drive shaft of the bevel pump must withstand, thrust bearings with high load capacity must be selected.
5. The total power of the bevel gear pump is slightly higher than that of the斜盘泵. However, the bevel gear pump is larger in size, and the flow adjustment is achieved by rocking the cylinder body to change the angle between the cylinder axis and the drive shaft axis. The inertia of the moving parts is high, resulting in slower dynamic maintenance.
6. Due to the superior anchoring at the swivel point, which facilitates the reciprocating motion of the plunger, the angular plunger pump is permitted to operate under self-priming conditions or at lower inlet pressures. Its self-priming function is superior to that of the斜盘式轴向柱塞泵.
