Method for Draining Oil-Water Separator

The device effectively filters impurities and separates oil from water, as the density of both water and impurities is generally higher than that of oil. Consequently, in most cases, water and impurities settle at the bottom of the water cup. The water valve is typically located at the bottom of the equipment, with a screw-like structure at the end of the sediment cup. Turning the screw releases the water and impurities.
1. Ensure timely water draining. During our daily routine maintenance, check the oil-water separator; if there's too much water or it exceeds the warning line, we need to drain it promptly.
2. Water draining is a regular occurrence. Firstly, it is necessary to drain the water from the separator promptly after the fuel runs out; secondly, the water in the separator should also be drained out immediately after replacing the fuel filter.
3. Don't forget to lubricate after draining. Once the water inside the separator is fully drained, remember to perform the lubrication operation on the oil pump until the fuel pump is filled.
Oily-water separators, commonly used in the catering industry, are essential for treating wastewater discharged from ships into rivers, lakes, and seas due to environmental protection regulations. Mainly suitable for areas with severe oil污水 discharge pollution in China, they are installed at the outlet of the sewage system to prevent the entry of oil污水 and garbage into the drains.
