The multi-effect evaporator is widely used in the concentration and evaporation of water or solutions in industries such as food, chemical, and light industry. In addition to its use in these industries, it can also be extensively applied in wastewater treatment for these sectors. It boasts many advantages, including high evaporation capacity, energy-saving, and low operation costs. Here, we will discuss the precautions to be taken with multi-effect evaporators.
When using a multi-effect evaporator, be mindful that if the temperature continues to rise, first check if the vacuum has tripped, then inspect if condensate is not draining, followed by checking if the steam pressure has suddenly increased and if there may be a leak. Stop and maintain pressure to determine the issue. The top heater should be equipped with a safety valve. The steam pressure in the top heater should not exceed 0.01 Mpa. Check if the safety valve frequently malfunctions. Don't be negligent. In any case, close the steam valve when stopping. If the evaporator circulation pump stops due to a fault, immediately close the steam. This product operates by connecting multiple evaporators.
