Application: Used for digestion of COD samples in high-chloride water bodies (water and wastewater with chloride ion concentration greater than 1000 mg/L).
Applicable Industries: Suitable for COD determination in wastewater from oil fields, coastal refineries, oil depots, alkali-chlorine plants, pesticides, chemicals, and deep-sea discharge of waste water.
Operating Principle
Under certain conditions, the amount of potassium dichromate consumed in the water sample, converted to the corresponding oxygen mass concentration, is the apparent CODcr. The oxygen mass concentration corresponding to the oxidation of chloride ions in the water sample is the chloride ion correction factor. The difference between the apparent CODcr and the chloride ion correction factor is the CODcr of the measured water sample. It is applicable to the digestion of CODcr in water and wastewater with chloride ion concentrations greater than 1000 mg/L, less than 50,000 mg/L, and CODcr greater than 10 mg/L.

Deburring Bottle: Equipped with PTFE joint threads for secure connections, offering excellent sealing and time-saving installation and disassembly.
★ Condenser Tube: Equipped with a linear bearing structure, it slides up and down effortlessly. The condensate in and outlets are threaded for easy cleaning and replacement.
★ Absorption Unit: Equipped with a secondary absorption unit, ensuring thorough reaction with the absorbent liquid.
Refrigeration System: Integrated compressor cooling system, internal water circulation for refrigeration, no need for external water source, one-time water filling for multiple uses, no need for external tap water, water-saving design.
★ Nitrogen Blow System: Utilizes imported proportional valves, featuring digital adjustment of nitrogen flow rate, and automatic closed-loop control of flow based on pressure.
★ Nitrogen Flow Parameters: Flow control range 0-50 mL/min, control accuracy ±1.5% F.S., repeatability ±0.2% F.S.
