We have developed a full synthetic, heavy-duty industrial gear oil with superior extreme pressure anti-wear properties, oxidation stability, anti-foaming, and anti-foaming capabilities by using high-performance sulfur-phosphorus composite additives and synthetic oil as the base oil, combined with other functional agents.
The research basis for the oil product was established; the specifications and development process of the N1000 heavy-duty industrial gear oil were described. This article introduces the current status of high-viscosity heavy-duty industrial gear oils. The formula for the oil product was determined, and the test results of blending the oil according to the formula were presented. The results indicate that the developed N1000 heavy-duty industrial gear oil exhibits excellent load-bearing capacity and anti-foaming properties, as well as good shear and oxidation stability.
The lubricant recommended in the user manual has been revised, selecting N460 heavy-duty industrial gear oil based on calculations of the tooth contact stress and gear linear velocity for the 16T-30M crane winch reducer.
