The high-temperature thermal oil series is produced using refined narrow-cut mineral base oil, enhanced with a variety of additives including detergents, dispersants, and high-temperature oxidation inhibitors. Suitable for closed-loop heat transfer systems with forced or non-forced circulation at high temperatures, these products comply with SH/T0677-1999. The high-temperature thermal oil has low volatility and a high flash point; it boasts high specific heat capacity and excellent thermal conductivity; it maintains good low-temperature fluidity; and it is compatible with system materials without corrosion. We offer a range of thermal oils including QB280#, QB320#, QC280# high-temperature thermal oil, and QC320# high-temperature thermal oil.
Thermal oil exhibits properties of resistance to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation, with excellent heat transfer efficiency, rapid heat dissipation, and good thermal stability. As a heat transfer medium in industrial oils, thermal oil possesses the following characteristics: it can achieve high operating temperatures under nearly atmospheric pressure conditions, significantly reducing the operational pressure and safety requirements of high-temperature heating systems, thereby enhancing the reliability of the system and equipment; it can meet different temperature heating and cooling process requirements over a wider temperature range, or simultaneously achieve high-temperature heating and low-temperature cooling within the same system using the same thermal oil; this reduces the complexity of the system and operations; it eliminates the need for water treatment systems and equipment, improving system thermal efficiency and reducing maintenance work for equipment and pipelines; it can also reduce the initial investment and operating costs of heating systems; in the event of system leakage caused by accident causes, there is a possibility of combustion when thermal oil encounters open flame, which is a problem compared to steam systems. However, under non-leakage conditions, due to the operation of the thermal oil system under low pressure, its operational safety is higher than that of water and steam systems.
