Industrial gear oil is used for the lubrication of gears or worm gears, symbolized as CK. The function of gear transmission is to change the speed of rotating parts, while the transmission function of worm gears is to change the direction of rotation. The Kaiti L-CKC series industrial medium load enclosed gear oil is meticulously formulated using high-quality lubricating oil base stock, combined with multi-functional composite additives through advanced technology. This product boasts excellent extreme pressure anti-wear properties, good oxidation stability, and anti-rust and anti-foaming properties. The Kaiti L-CKC series industrial medium load enclosed gear oil meets the quality standards of GB5903-2011 and reaches the quality level of similar foreign products.
Industrial Gear Oil Characteristics
(1) Appropriate viscosity and good temperature viscosity properties
Viscosity is a fundamental property of gear oil. The formation of hydrodynamic and elastic fluid film has a close relationship with the viscosity of gear oil. The higher the viscosity of the oil, the thicker the film formed, and the greater its load-bearing capacity. Good viscosity-temperature properties mean the viscosity changes less with temperature variations, and the fluctuation in the film thickness is also smaller.
(2) Sufficient extreme pressure and wear resistance
High-performance, extreme-pressure, and anti-wear oil products form boundary adsorption films or chemical reaction films under high-speed, low-speed heavy loads, or impact loads in gear mechanisms. They can prevent gear surface wear, scoring, and bonding.
(3) Excellent oxidation and thermal stability
Gear oil, when in use, comes into contact with air, metal, and impurities. Under higher temperatures, it is prone to oxidation and deterioration, which shortens the lifespan of the oil product.
(4) Excellent anti-emulsifying properties
Gear oil, during operation, often has the possibility of contacting water, leading to a mixture of oil and water, which is prone to emulsification and deterioration.
(5) Excellent anti-foaming properties
Gearbox drive system with a recirculating oil tank, during operation, the oil flow is agitated, which easily leads to foaming, reducing the actual working oil volume and consequently affecting heat dissipation or causing oil film damage and increasing mechanical wear.
(6) Excellent rust and corrosion resistance
Oxidation products of oil, often due to additives, can commonly cause gear corrosion, while the presence of moisture leads to metal rusting.
