Nickel 201 Pure Nickel Detailed Information | Nickel 201 Nickel Plate Supply
Nickel 201 Bar Stock, Standard ASTM B160, Direct Factory Supply of Industrial Pure Nickel

Nickel 201 is an industrial pure nickel with excellent plasticity and toughness, as well as high chemical stability. Pure nickel resists atmospheric, alkaline, and freshwater corrosion. It has good corrosion resistance in hot concentrated alkaline solutions and also in medium and slightly acidic solutions, as well as organic solvents. However, it is not resistant to corrosive acids with oxidizing agents and the corrosion of most molten metals. It also becomes brittle and sulfidized in high-temperature sulfur-containing gases.
Nickel 201 is an industrial pure nickel with a purity of over 99.6%. It is essentially the same as Nickel 200, but with a lower carbon content. The lower carbon content prevents embrittlement caused by intergranular carbon precipitation at temperatures above 315°C, and also reduces hardness, making Nickel 201 particularly suitable for cold forming applications. Nickel 201 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in environments such as caustic alkalis. Particularly, it has been widely used for many years as a material in the manufacturing of caustic alkali plants based on diaphragm electrolysis. The Nickel 201 alloy has the following characteristics:

Nickel 200 is a low-carbon, pure commercial nickel that has been approved for use in high-temperature environments up to 1230°C. Applications of Nickel 201: 1. Food processing and handling equipment, salt refining equipment. 2. Mining and marine extraction. 3. Equipment required for the production of industrial sodium hydroxide under high-temperature conditions above 300°C.
