PH13-8Mo stainless steel, an American precipitation-hardened stainless steel. The 0Cr13Ni8Mo2Al (PH13-8Mo) steel is a high-strength martensitic precipitation-hardened stainless steel produced through double vacuum melting. This steel stands out for its excellent fracture toughness, good lateral mechanical properties, and stress corrosion resistance in marine environments, in addition to its high strength. To accurately control the alloy composition, reduce gas content in the steel, and enhance its purity, the VIM plus VAR double vacuum melting process should be employed during production. Due to its excellent overall performance, it is widely used in aerospace, nuclear reactors, petrochemical industries, and other fields, such as cold heading and machined fasteners, aircraft components, reactor components, and petrochemical equipment.
