Hot forming
Hot forming should be conducted within a temperature range of 950-1200°C (1742-2192°F). Complete heat treatment includes solid solution annealing, cooling (below 25°C), and aging (at a specified temperature).
Cold Forming
Cold forming is only possible on sheets in a soft state, with strict conditions. Post cold working, the secondary aging at quenching and hardening temperatures enhances the resistance to stress corrosion.
