T91 steel is a heat-resistant, non-scaling steel, commonly used in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions in power plant boilers. Equivalent to GB standard 10Cr9Mo1VNb.
Application of T91 steel: Suitable for high-temperature superheater and reheater tubes used in subcritical and supercritical boilers with wall temperatures ≤625°C, as well as high-temperature headers and steam pipelines with wall temperatures ≤600°C. Additionally, it can be used for nuclear power heat exchangers and furnace tubes in oil cracking units.

Introduction to the Welding Properties of T91 Alloy Steel Bars
T91 alloy steel can be welded by existing methods, including arc welding with the available TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) process. The selection of welding rods and flux should aim to maintain consistency or near consistency with the base material's chemical composition, ensuring the welding metal has the same or improved creep and tensile strength as the base material. As this steel is insensitive to thermal cracks, preheating to 150-200°C before welding will not cause cracks, and it can be welded with various steels such as P22 (pearlitic heat-resistant steel), X20CrMoV121 (martensitic heat-resistant steel), and TP304H (austenitic heat-resistant steel).
