Gouhuo Supplies' T Titanium alloy boasts excellent corrosion resistance!
Titanium exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in many media, particularly in neutral and oxidizing media. It can also be used in certain dilute reducing acids, such as acids of various concentrations from room temperature to boiling points. It has good resistance to most alkaline solutions, such as saturated solutions of barium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and magnesium hydroxide at room temperature, but it should not be used in boiling sodium hydroxide solutions. Titanium is completely non-corrosive in seawater and highly resistant to corrosion in most organic acids (except formic acid and oxalic acid). It boasts exceptional corrosion resistance in solutions containing chlorites, hypochlorites, and other chlorides. The corrosion resistance in sodium chloride solutions increases with the rise in pH value.
Titanium alloy T material is composed of Ti-6Al-4V, which is a (α+β) type titanium alloy with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.
The strength of T is sb=1.012 GPa, density g=4.51 g/cm³, specific strength sb/g=23.5, while the specific strength sb/g of alloy steel is less than 18. Titanium alloys have low thermal conductivity.
Titanium alloy has a thermal conductivity of 1/5 that of iron and 1/10 that of aluminum, with a thermal conductivity of T = 7.955 W/m·K.
Gr.5 titanium alloy sold by Guhuo can be applied in industries such as aviation, aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and energy.
