The composition of TC4 titanium alloy is Ti-6Al-4V, which belongs to the (α+β) type titanium alloy and boasts excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.
Gr5's strength sb = 1.012 GPa, density g = 4.51 g/cm³, specific strength sb/g = 23.5, while the specific strength sb/g of alloy steel is less than 18. Titanium alloys have low thermal conductivity.
Titanium alloy has a thermal conductivity of 1/5 that of iron and 1/10 that of aluminum, with TC4's thermal conductivity at l=7.955 W/m·K. It is widely used in industries such as aviation, aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and energy.
Primary Characteristics of TC4:
Excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, most of which can be heat-treated for strengthening, can be forged, stamped, and welded. High strength at room temperature, excellent heat resistance within a temperature range of 150°C to 500°C, good low-temperature toughness, and corrosion resistance make Gr5 a widely used alloy material.
Usage:
Parts for long-term use below 400 degrees Celsius, including containers, pumps, and other low-temperature components, military-grade parts, medical equipment, outdoor applications, and high-strength components.
