Many workers are using electric hoists, but do you know how to install them? The installation method for electric hoists is as follows:
Check that the electric basket's safety lock operates smoothly; it should be quick and effortless to pull the pulley, without any jamming.
Inspect the electric hoist lifting mechanism, press the button to make the hoist run empty, observe if it operates normally without any noise or jamming.
2. The safety rope of the electric basket is threaded through the safety lock, and the counterweight hammer is hung. Turn on the hoist motor, and thread the steel wire rope into the hoist. The rope end should automatically emerge from the rope outlet.
Before installing the electric hoist basket equipment, read the product manual and train the operators to understand the working principle, precautions, and safety operation procedures; untrained personnel are prohibited from operating the equipment.
4. Assemble the elevator basket according to the illustration. Ensure the counterweight iron has adequate weight. The torque at the counterweight end should be three times that of the electric elevator basket end (Force x Lever = Torque). All connections should be secure and reliable.
5. After the electric hoist basket is assembled, adjust the distance between the lifting rope and the safety lock. Move the safety lock until the basket tilts between 6° to 8°, at which point the safety lock should securely lock the safety rope.
