Humidifier Tips and Selection Guide
1. When using conventional refrigerant dehumidifiers, the intake and exhaust air filters (front and rear filters) should be cleaned regularly. In environments with relatively poor conditions and severe contamination by dust and oil, the cleaning frequency should be increased.
2. To prevent debris and dust from clogging the moisture extractor's internal water tray or blocking the outlet pipe, please ensure to clean the interface between the water tray and the outlet pipe.
3. If the machine is equipped with an external drainage pipe, opt for a higher-quality drainage pipe to ensure proper drainage and prevent condensate leakage from the dehumidifier due to pipe damage.
4. If the dehumidifier detects that the compressor and fan are functioning normally but the ambient humidity is higher than the set humidity, yet the machine is not producing water, this indicates a refrigerant leak. At this point, the dehumidifier should be powered off immediately and stopped from operating. Contact the dehumidifier's after-sales service personnel for inspection. To prevent the machine from continuing to operate with a refrigerant leak or without refrigerant, which could lead to compressor failure.
5. Dehumidifiers are in the normal drying season. If not in use, please store the dehumidifier in a dry place. To avoid moisture affecting the internal circuit board, chips, and sensors, which could impact future use, ensure there is no humidity in the air.
During the handling and transportation of mobile dehumidifiers, ensure they are placed vertically; do not invert or subject them to gravitational impact to prevent damage to the internal structure and leakage of compressor oil.
7. General application environments for standard refrigerant dehumidifiers range from 5 to 38 degrees Celsius; excessive temperatures can trigger high-temperature protection in the dehumidification compressor, halting normal operation. In environments where the temperature is below 5°C, traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers struggle to dehumidify effectively. For temperatures below 5°C, please use a specialized dehumidifier for refrigeration. Cold storage-specific dehumidifiers are suitable for environments with temperatures between 0 to 38°C.
If the working environment is corrosive to metals and certain equipment, a customized anti-corrosion and dehumidifier can be ordered. This can extend the lifespan of the dehumidifier.
9. If explosion-proof requirements are in place, or if there are flammable and explosive gases or dust present, please make sure to specify this in advance. Therefore, it is necessary to customize explosion-proof dehumidifiers.
If the required relative humidity is below 30%, choose a desiccant dehumidifier. A desiccant dehumidifier can meet the requirement of relative humidity below 20%.
11. If the dehumidifier cannot be placed on the ground due to environmental and site influences, ceiling-mounted dehumidifiers and pipe dehumidifiers are alternative options.
If customers wish to meet both fresh air and dehumidification needs simultaneously, they can opt for an integrated fresh air dehumidification unit.
