To ensure the safety of these steel structures, it's essential to inspect the steel, making steel structure safety inspection and certification indispensable. So, what aspects need to be checked during the inspection and certification of these factories?

1. Gather basic information on the steel structure factory buildings on-site, such as the purpose of use, structural layout, construction time, number of floors, and various drawings of the factory buildings.

2. Conduct a verification of the steel frame structure layout, prefabricated component specifications, and floor heights based on the factory engineering drawings collected in Step 1. For factories without relevant engineering drawings, measurements must be taken on the spot and the corresponding drawings must be drawn.

3. Record the current conditions of steel prefabricated components in steel structural workshops, such as rust, damage to connection points, coating loss, defects in welding appearance, and the tightness of connections, and conduct inspections and evaluations one by one.

4. Extract a certain number of steel structural prefabricated components, and select ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspection according to relevant specifications and standards for welding detection. Assess whether there are defects such as weld beads, arc pit cracks, and arc burn-through.

5. Utilize total stations to measure the deflection values of steel trusses, girder structures, and components, determining if their degree of deformation falls within the specified range.

6. The compressive strength of stainless steel sheets determines the safety of steel structural components, thus, surface strength testing methods must be employed.

7. Steel structure factory buildings in use will have their anti-corrosion and safety coatings for prefabricated components affected by environmental factors. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect the thickness of the anti-corrosion or fire safety coatings on steel prefabricated components.

8. Based on the inspection data obtained from the above structural steel components, conduct a series of calculations on the upper structural load-bearing capacity of the steel structure factory building according to relevant architectural design standards. Determine if the current load-bearing capacity of the steel structure factory building complies with national standards and safety application regulations for the mid to long term.

9. In accordance with relevant specification standards, assess the safety level of the current steel structure factory buildings, and propose effective solutions for prefabricated components that do not meet safety application regulations and those with structural damage at the current stage.
