Rock wool boards are primarily used as thermal insulation materials in panel construction. They are made from basalt, which is melted at high temperatures and spun into artificial inorganic fibers by high-speed centrifugal equipment. Adhesives and dust-proof oils are then added, followed by heating and curing to produce various specifications and requirements of rock wool insulation boards. Additionally, rock wool can be compounded with glass wool and silicate aluminum wool to create composite rock wool insulation boards and shells. The rock wool boards are produced using gabbro and basalt slag as the main raw materials, melted at high temperatures and sprayed with adhesives and water-repellent agents during the high-speed centrifugal process to form resin-based rock wool insulation boards and waterproof rock wool insulation boards.
