Daily inspections of the powder hydraulic press are essential to ensure safe operation every day. In the event of a malfunction, regular inspections can help determine the cause of the issue. How should daily inspections of the powder hydraulic press be conducted?
Daily inspections for the powder hydraulic press include the following aspects:
(1) Fuel level and temperature in the fuel tank. Monitor the fuel level gauge to ensure the liquid level in the tank is consistently at a normal level. If not, it should be replenished promptly. The type of fuel added must match the system's designated oil type.
The product has been tested and meets the specified standards; the additional oil must be filtered, with a filtration accuracy that meets or exceeds the system's requirements.
(2) Oil leakage at various sealed parts and pipe joints, etc. Leakage in the hydraulic system while in operation is unavoidable and common. The leakage leads to a decrease in system pressure, causing the speed of the actuating elements to become unstable.
Waste of oil, energy consumption, reduced efficiency, rising oil temperature, environmental pollution, and fire hazards. System leaks often occur at fixed seals and moving seals. The primary causes of leaks are typically damaged or aged seals.
Loose or damaged fasteners (due to pipeline vibration) should be promptly inspected. Leaks in non-operational conditions are not permitted.
(3) Check if the screws at the pressure adjustment of the throttle valve and other pressure valves are loose. If the pressure adjustment screw of the overflow valve is loose, it will lead to the system's working pressure not reaching the predetermined value or failing to establish working pressure, causing the system to malfunction.
Loosened pressure-reducing valve adjustment screws will prevent the outlet pressure from reaching the set value, thus impairing the normal operation of the pressure-reducing circuit.
