High-absorbent resin is used to produce industrial moisture-proof agents by utilizing the function of high-absorbent resins to absorb water at high temperatures and release it at low temperatures. In oilfield drilling operations, especially in the extraction of oil from mature oilfields, the water solution of polyacrylamide with an ultra-high relative molecular weight demonstrates excellent oil displacement effects. It can also be used for desiccation of organic solvents, particularly for those with low polarity, where its desiccation effect is very pronounced. Additionally, it serves as thickeners for industrial use and water-soluble coatings.
