SAP resin, abbreviated as SAP, is a typical functional polymer material. It can absorb hundreds, even thousands, of times its own weight in water and has strong water retention capabilities, hence also known as a water absorbent or high water retention agent. Chemically, superabsorbent resins are high polymer polymers with many hydrophilic groups, low cross-linking, or partial crystallization. In actual production, the uniform mixing of SAP with wool-like fibers is crucial, directly affecting the product's liquid absorption capacity and uniformity. It also plays a significant role in preventing gel adhesion and hard spots from piercing through the paper web surface, as well as in preventing interlayer slippage.
