Installation Location
The hydraulic cylinders in forklift hydraulic systems typically include lift cylinders, tilt cylinders, and steering cylinders, among others. Consequently, the tilt cylinder of a forklift, as the name implies, is installed within the hydraulic cylinder of the forklift's hydraulic system. However, the tilt cylinders of internal combustion forklifts are all of the piston type, with each end of the cylinder equipped with a pipe connection. The front end of the tilt cylinder is connected to the outer gantry through the piston rod joint, while the rear end is connected to the upper support bracket of the forklift frame. The main accessories include: piston rods, dust seals, plugs, Y-shaped seals, O-shaped seals, guide sleeves, cylinder barrels, retainers, pistons, and expansion rings, among other forklift accessories.
Hangcha Maintenance Station
Main component disassembly and inspection for repair.
Disassembly Method:
1) Disassemble the oil pipe connector of the internal combustion forklift, unscrew the pin bolt of the inclined hydraulic cylinder, remove the pin, and take off the forklift hydraulic cylinder from the forklift.
2) Secure the hydraulic cylinder of the internal combustion forklift to the vise, unscrew the bolts, remove the cover, and take off the spring clip.
Remove the piston rod and accessories from the cylinder body using the earrings.
Remove the cotter pin, tighten the nut, and remove the washer, Y-shaped seal, support ring, piston, guide sleeve, O-ring, and other components.
5) Remove the thrust washer, loosen the nut, and unscrew the lug.
2. Inspection and repair of key components for internal combustion forklifts
After removing the hydraulic cylinder from the internal combustion forklift, the forklift attachments should be cleaned thoroughly and dried.
2) Inspect the coaxial alignment of the forklift piston and the piston rod. Place the piston rod on a V-block and check with a micrometer. If the forklift piston's precision exceeds the tolerance range due to non-compliance with the precision requirements, it should be replaced.
Check for bending in the internal combustion forklift piston. Inspect using a V-block and a micrometer; correct and repair if bending is detected.
4) In cases of severe surface wear or scratches on forklift hydraulic cylinders, honing can be used for repair.
5) Severe wear or scoring in the forklift tube inner bore should be replaced.
6) If rubber cups and forklift seals are worn or cracked, they should be replaced. When using O-rings on forklift pistons, they typically lose their original shape after a few years and should be replaced.
The mating clearance between the repaired cylinder inner surface and the forklift piston should be 0.04-0.13 millimeters, but not exceed 0.25 millimeters.
