Many companies, in their pursuit of reducing the ash content of briquettes or enhancing production efficiency, focus solely on production costs while neglecting product quality. They are frantically reducing the addition of binder in briquette production, bringing the rate down to approximately 1-2% per ton. Domestic and international experts, through extensive research and experiments, have found that to ensure briquettes possess water resistance, sulfur fixation, smoke elimination, and combustion promotion functions, the addition rate must be between 4-6% (for high-sulfur coal, lignite, and coke powder, it must be around 6-10%). Especially if one desires briquettes to have certain thermal strength and stability, preventing them from cracking or disintegrating during combustion, the addition rate must be around 5-8% for most coal types, except for a few. An appropriate addition ratio not only guarantees product quality but also significantly enhances the overall benefits of briquettes. Therefore, experts point out that reducing the cost of briquettes should involve efforts in raw material procurement, production processes, and management, rather than cutting corners in binder application. In recent years, many briquette, pellet, and barbecue charcoal companies have "headed for destruction," mostly due to insufficient binder addition or a disregard for quality, leading to their downfall!

Coal briquette binder is a vital auxiliary material in the production of coal briquettes, determining both the quality of the briquettes and even the success or failure of the enterprise. The binder formula utilizes new domestic binder materials, with scientific and unique matching, thus making the binder cost-effective, efficient, and versatile; employing scientific and clever proportions, it ensures the produced coal briquettes are low in price, high in quality, and feature multiple functions.

  State-of-the-Art Technology:Traditional coal briquette binder technology has a production cost of over 100 yuan per ton of binder, and even for more easily bonded coal types, the price per ton of briquette is still quite high. Moreover, traditional coal briquette binders have shortcomings such as poor heat resistance and water resistance. Currently, many coal briquette enterprises in our country, in order to reduce costs, are accustomed to "low-cost, low-quality" production, leading to poor quality briquettes, causing businesses to go bankrupt and be eliminated in the market competition. This technology reduces the cost of coal briquettes by 10-20 yuan per ton, and for certain sticky coal types, the reduction can be as high as 30-40 yuan per ton, thereby satisfying the interests of both enterprises and users.

  II. Reasonable AdditionsCurrent blending ratios for binder in China's coal briquette production are mostly between 1% and 3%. Practice has shown that low addition rates have numerous drawbacks: first, it significantly reduces production efficiency, doubling the mixing time. Second, uneven mixing drastically decreases the molding and finished product rates. Third, it's difficult to incorporate materials like sulfur fixers, limiting the briquettes' combustion, sulfur fixing, and water resistance. Fourth, it affects the briquettes' thermal properties. A reasonable addition rate not only enhances production efficiency and quality but also yields favorable overall benefits: if a 5% addition rate is used in producing one ton of briquette binder, it adds 50 kg of briquettes per ton. Assuming a briquette selling price of 1,000 yuan per ton, this translates to an additional profit of 50 yuan per ton, further expanding the company's economic benefits.

Chinese experts in coal briquetting production point out: The high-viscosity, environmentally friendly, and efficient water-resistant coal binder follows a path of "low cost, high quality, and high benefit." It not only brings significant benefits to coal briquette producers in China but also holds profound significance for the control of smog in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and other areas.
