Cautionary Notes:

During the welding process of stainless steel agitator tanks, it is crucial to clean the surfaces thoroughly to prevent contamination that could increase carbon in the weld metal. The main equipment for the steam separator boiler includes the separator cylinder, which is a pressure vessel and should have a pressure-bearing capacity and volume that corresponds to the associated boiler. The surfaces on both sides of the welding area of the weldment, including the bevel face, should be cleaned to a distance of 20mm. These surfaces should be free of grease, stains, paint marks, oxide scales, and other impurities. Typically, cleaning is done with acetone or alcohol, followed by sanding. If not cleaned properly, these substances can decompose and burn into gases under the high-temperature electric arc, causing gas pores and increased carbon in the weld metal, which in turn reduces the corrosion resistance of the welded joints.
