Overview
The separation performance of a packed tower depends on the internals, such as packing, distributors, collectors, etc. It also relies on numerous parameters, including gas and liquid loads, material properties, operating pressure, packing wetting performance, and uneven liquid distribution, among others. To date, the separation performance of the tower cannot be calculated based on the geometric shape of the packing; it requires accurate data to be determined through the theory of packed towers and experiments with the tower under various conditions. Users can determine the tower size and required packing height with a first-order approximation based on the provided information. If an economic and reasonable structural design is needed, our factory is willing to closely cooperate with the customer.
