Features and characteristics:
Upright, semi-compact plant type; summer-sown growth period102 days, 1 day later in maturity than Zhengdan 958, with 19 full plant leaves. The seedling sheath is purple, the anther filaments are light green, and the anthers are green. The male spike has 7-8 branches. Regional trial results: plant height 249 cm, ear height 100-108 cm, cylindrical ear shape, ear length 18.3-23.6 cm, ear diameter 5 cm, 16-18 rows per ear, 576.5 kernels per ear, red cob, yellow kernels, deep dent type, seed yield 87.2%-92.6%, weight 753.3-783.3 g/l. In 2021, evaluated by the College of Plant Protection at Shandong Agricultural University: highly resistant to smut, stem rot; moderately resistant to small spot disease, leaf spot, ear rot, southern rust, and stunting. In 2021, quality analysis by the Grain Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Taian): crude protein 10.79%, crude fat 5.21%, lysine 0.23%, crude starch 71.35%.

Production Performance:
In 2018, participated in the Shandong Joint Crop Union's summer corn variety regional trial (5,000 plants/acre) with an average yield of 673.8 kg per acre, a 10.8% increase over the control Zhengdan 958; in 2020, the average yield was 776.6 kg per acre in the same trial, a 9.4% increase over Zhengdan 958; in 2021, the production trial yielded an average of 633.0 kg per acre, also a 9.4% increase over Zhengdan 958. In 2023, the Shandong research field yielded 1976.8 jin per acre.
