Important Safety Precautions for Grate Usage
1. When igniting normally, ensure the fan is on before opening the fire observation door. Instead, it must go through the storage process. Set up a garbage storage pit: first, to store incoming garbage and regulate its quantity; second, to process the garbage through mixing, blending, and dehydration, thereby adjusting its properties. When adding coal, pour it through the coal addition door onto the upper grate. Maintain a coal layer thickness of 15 to 20 centimeters. If the upper part of the coal layer is already on fire, add coal to smother the flames.
2. Coal addition on the furnace grate is strictly prohibited. Additionally, waste entering the factory should remain in the storage pit for a certain period of time. Through natural compression and partial fermentation, the moisture content of the waste can be reduced, thereby increasing the calorific value of the waste entering the furnace and improving the incineration effect. To prevent the emission of black smoke, when there is an excessive accumulation of burning coal on the lower grate and the furnace needs to continue operating, the ash and slag from the completely burned lower grate should be cleared away while maintaining the fire at the bottom.
3. Source of the coal layer on the bottom grate: Part of it falls freely from the gaps of the upper grate, and it is more suitable for household waste to remain in the storage pit for 3 to 5 days. In colder and more humid conditions, the stay time can be appropriately extended. Another part is intentionally dropped to stabilize the combustion on the bottom grate. When the fire on the bottom grate is slightly weak, a poke stick can be used to push the red coal down from the upper grate through the gaps of the grate tubes, ensuring a stable and continuous combustion layer on the bottom grate.
4. When the chain grate boiler burns沫煤, it should be mixed with 10-15% water under the condition of a well-lighted base to prevent spillage. This includes two factors: first, the residence time of municipal solid waste inside the incinerator, which refers to the duration from when the waste enters the furnace to when it is completely incinerated and the slag is discharged from the furnace; second, the residence time of the flue gas from the incineration of municipal solid waste in the furnace, which is the time it takes for the flue gas produced by the incineration of waste to escape from the waste and be exhausted from the secondary combustion chamber. The burning speed and spillage of different types of coal vary. Pay attention to adjusting the ventilation and coal-adding patterns.
