As the market evolves, the application of PPH pipes has become increasingly widespread. How to carry out hot-melt welding for Zhenjiang PPH pipes during use, and what specific steps are involved? Hot-melt welding mainly consists of 7 steps: cutting, preheating, aligning, heating, welding, cooling, and inspection. Below, we have compiled the relevant instructions for you.
Firstly, we need to trim the PPH pipe, cutting it to the required size with a cutting blade. When cutting, be careful not to deviate from the line and slowly rotate the blade, avoiding haste as it may damage the blade. If the cutting blade is difficult to rotate, reverse the blade, remove it, and re-align the line. Next is the preheating of the PPH pipe, adjusting the preheating pressure to the welding requirement using the PPH pipe hydraulic regulating valve. The adjustment method is to lock the heating unloading valve, push the hydraulic lever forward, and observe the pressure gauge for the pressure reading.
The next step involves matching and selecting the appropriate mold, then securing the melting tube section to the work platform with a wrench. Ensure that the clamping screws at both ends are tightened sequentially to prevent the tube from being uneven. As the two tube sections are retracted by the hydraulic lever to a spacing no less than the thickness of the electric cutting machine, the welding surfaces of each tube section should extend 40-50mm beyond the clamp. Pay attention to overall levelness when the tube section is longer. Remove the heated plate that has reached the required temperature from the pph tube tool rack and place it on the operating stand, with one side resting against the welding surface. Push the hydraulic clamp to achieve the required melting pressure. Once the hot melt edge on the welding surface reaches 1mm, release the heating and pressure relief valve to remove the heating pressure. After a period of waiting, the hot melt bonding of the welding surface is achieved.
