Shandong Crack-Resistant Tape Manufacturer: Reinforcing Effect of Crack-Resistant Tape

Anti-cracking strips are primarily used in the construction and maintenance of roadbeds for expressways, general roads, and urban roads. They possess high tensile strength, excellent flexibility, and good surface adhesion, making them suitable for roadbeds to prevent cracking reflections on the surface layer caused by temperature changes and vertical loads. The anti-cracking strips feature a reasonable multi-layer structure (2.0mm thick).

During the laying of hot asphalt mixtures, the upper layer's high-strength, heat-resistant fabric does not deform at high temperatures, ensuring the formation of a locally high-strength asphalt mixture layer; the top-coated polymer melts and seeps out from the fabric's gaps, bonding well with the asphalt mixture; the bottom coating has an adequate amount of polymer that fills the surface imperfections after melting, enhancing the bonding strength with the base surface. The stability of the bottom coating and the carcass ensures the formation of a relatively uniform composite layer, meeting the requirements for crack resistance and waterproofing.

Crack-Resistant Tape is a rolled-type crack-resistant and waterproof separator membrane, consisting of a 2mm thick polymer waterproof film coated on a 0.3mm thick anti-wrinkle, high-load-resistant polypropylene material, which is then rigorously pressed and compounded together. It features self-adhesive interlayer crack-resistant and waterproof materials. This structure combines the organic integration of several crack and waterproof measures currently used separately on highways, such as geosynthetic materials and stress-absorbing layer materials. The self-adhesive crack-resistant tape is an optimized and upgraded product for highway interlayer crack and waterproof materials.

Reinforcing Function:

The high-strength, heat-resistant fabric on the anti-crack tape boasts significant tensile strength, effectively resisting tensile stresses at interlayer crack locations, limiting the expansion of crack widths, and serving as a reinforcing agent, thereby enhancing the tensile strength of the local structural layer of asphalt pavements.

Energy Dissipation Buffering Effect

The polymer in the anti-crack tape is a material with certain viscoelastic properties and excellent low-temperature flexibility. Laid between layers of asphalt pavement, it effectively creates a composite layer that maintains good viscoelasticity at certain low temperatures. The tensile stress at crack locations is expanded across this viscoelastic composite layer, gradually diminishing over a wider area, thereby absorbing tensile energy.

Water-Proof and Impermeable Function

Crack membranes are laid on the surface of interlayer cracks, forming a complete waterproofing layer that intercepts the infiltration paths of rain and snowwater, thereby reducing water damage to the road surface.

Adhesive Performance:

The crack tape is self-adhesive, offering a convenient application process. After peeling off the isolation film, it can be directly bonded to the crack area. Once stabilized with a small compaction device, it provides a stronger bond with the road surface, ensuring no displacement and meeting the construction requirements for the upper asphalt mixture laying.

Applying crack贴片to asphalt concrete surfaces with cracks or剥落can reduce and isolate the thermal contraction stresses they exert on the road surface, thereby decreasing the tendency of cracks to reflect through the surface layer. The laying of these patches separates the subgrade from the upper wearing course, thereby protecting the upper layer from multidirectional displacement and shear stresses, making them suitable for use on highways, bridges, and airports.
