Several Unique Techniques for Anodizing
Metal exposed to air is prone to oxidation, leading to corrosion and reducing the lifespan of equipment. We can actually protect it by applying a protective coating, which can effectively address the issue. Therefore, anodizing can apply a protective film to steel, utilizing the metal surface to form a tight, protective oxide film by attaching to oxygen and oxidizing agents in the air, thus isolating the oxygen outside. In an anodizing factory, oxidation typically involves methods such as anodizing, acid-base oxidation, thermal oxidation, and chemical oxidation, among others.

Anodized finish coloring for industrial aluminum profiles
The chemical dyeing of the anodic oxidation film on industrial aluminum profiles is made possible due to the porous film layer's ability to adsorb dyes, similar to that of textile fibers. The basic conditions for the adsorption dyeing of the oxidized film are:
(1) Possesses a certain porosity and adsorption capacity; (2) Features an appropriate thickness; (3) Is colorless and transparent; (4) Exhibits a uniform crystal phase structure with no significant differences, such as coarse crystallization and segregation.
The chemical dyeing process is simple, cost-effective, with low investment, wide color range, and bright hues. However, large-area products tend to have uneven colors, and they can fade easily if the sealing is improper or if mechanical damage occurs after dyeing, especially in common anodized factories. Moreover, the color film in standard anodizing has poor light resistance, and is commonly used for coloring decorative materials and small-sized daily use items for indoor applications.

Several Unique Techniques for Anodizing
How Oxidation Works: 1. Acid-Base Oxidation Method. This involves two different oxidation methods: alkaline oxidation involves immersing the metal in an alkaline solution, with the soaking time depending on the number of carbon atoms in the metal. After oxidation in the alkaline solution, the metal parts are dried to complete the process. Acid oxidation, on the other hand, places the metal in an acidic solution, with the principle similar to alkaline oxidation. Between the two methods, acid oxidation is relatively more economical. The protective film formed after treatment has better corrosion resistance and mechanical strength than alkaline oxidation.
