Common hard anodizing processes and methods

After anodizing aluminum and aluminum alloy hard anodizing, the obtained anodic oxide layer has the following characteristics:

1. Heat Resistance: The melting point of the hard anodized film can reach up to 2050°C, making it a heat-resistant material.

2. Insulation: The resistivity of the hard anodized film is extremely high, and its breakdown voltage exceeds 200V.

3. Corrosion Resistance: High resistance to corrosion in the atmosphere; can withstand corrosion for thousands of hours in a salt mist environment with a concentration of over 3% NaCl.

Anodizing

The aluminum and lead plates are placed in a water solution, undergo anodic oxidation treatment, which includes sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, chromic acid, etc., to carry out electrolysis, forming an oxide film on the surface of the aluminum and lead plates. Among these acids, sulfuric acid is most commonly used for anodic oxidation.
