Industrial air coolers operate by drawing air into the cavity as the fan runs, creating a negative pressure that forces outdoor air to flow over a porous, moist baffle surface. This process lowers the dry bulb temperature of the air passing through the baffle to nearly match the outdoor air's wet bulb temperature, resulting in the air at the cooler's outlet being 5-12℃ (up to 15℃ in arid regions) cooler than the outdoor dry bulb temperature. The greater the dry heat, the larger the temperature difference, and the better the cooling effect. Since air is constantly drawn from outside into the room (at this point, it's called a positive pressure system), it maintains fresh indoor air. Additionally, due to the cooler's use of the evaporation cooling principle, it provides both cooling and humidification (relative humidity up to 75% or so), making it suitable for use in textile and knitting workshops. It not only improves cooling and heating standards but also purifies the air, reduces the rate of needle breakage during the knitting process, and enhances the quality of the knitted products.
