1. Standard Seamless Steel Pipe Length (also known as Non-Custom Length): If the length falls within the standard range and there is no fixed length requirement, it is referred to as general length. For example, the structural pipe standard specifies: hot rolled (extruded, expanded) steel pipe 3000mm to 12000mm; cold drawn (rolled) steel pipe 2000mm to 10500mm.
2. Seamless Steel Pipe Dimensions: The dimension length should be within the normal length range and be the fixed length size required by the contract. However, in actual operation, cutting to the exact dimension length is not feasible, so the standard specifies the permissible positive deviation value for dimension length.
3. Seamless Steel Pipe Double Scale Length: The double scale length should be within the normal length range, and the contract should specify the single scale length and the multiple of the total length (e.g., 3000mm x 3, meaning 3 times 3000mm, for a total length of 9000mm). In actual operations, an additional 20mm positive deviation should be allowed on the total length, and each single scale length should retain the切口 allowance. If there are no specifications for double scale length deviation and cutting allowance in the standards, the supplier and buyer should negotiate and note it in the contract. Having the same double scale length can significantly reduce the yield for manufacturers, so it is reasonable for manufacturers to propose a price increase, with the same increase rate.
