Vacuum diffusion welding involves holding closely fitted components in place under specific temperatures and pressures in a vacuum environment for a period of time, allowing atoms at the contacting surfaces to diffuse and form a bond. This welding process results in weld seams that are invisible to the naked eye, does not require solder, and does not necessitate melting of the materials. Even under high magnification, it is challenging to observe phase transitions. The characteristics of the parts welded by diffusion are also distinctive, including higher strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and no cross-contamination.
