What are the principles for the disposal of cable shaft waste?

The principles for handling cable shaft waste are as follows: To strengthen the disposal of cable shaft waste, all medium and large cities with conditions should establish special recycling and disposal institutions and related enterprises. When handling general cable shaft waste, it should be separated and classified according to its nature, adhering to the principle of resource conservation, and making the best effort to utilize it comprehensively or recycle it. Waste that cannot be utilized should be handed over to specialized recycling and disposal institutions for final processing. The disposal of cable shaft waste should be timely and comply with relevant domestic and international environmental protection regulations. In the storage, transportation, and disposal of cable shaft waste, hazardous packaging waste and non-hazardous packaging waste should be separated and disposed of strictly according to their respective technical requirements. Effective protective measures should be taken for the different properties of waste during storage, transportation, and disposal to ensure the safety of operators and prevent accidents or other hazards.

Technical requirements include: Waste cable shafts free of hazardous materials can be disposed of by incineration. Cable shaft waste contaminated with explosives must be de-activated before incineration or landfilling. Hazardous packaging waste should be clearly marked during storage, transportation, and disposal. Packaging waste containing pesticides or other hazardous substances must be landfilled without prior harmless treatment. Storage, transportation, and disposal of packaging waste should use designated areas and facilities to prevent rain, moisture, mold, leakage, airborne particles, spillage, and the generation of foul odors and pollution.

Now, most cable shafts utilize a steel frame, and their manufacturing process is generally as follows:

1. Cable reels are sized based on cable specifications, typically limited to 15 layers. The width and outer diameter of the cable reel are determined by multiplying the cable's outer diameter by the number of layers.

2. Fabricate steel framework. Made of angle iron (selected based on cable drum dimensions).

3. Laid wooden planks inside the skeletal structure.

The wooden structure cable drum illustrated in your diagram is used for small cables, and its method is roughly the same as that of the steel frame drum.

1. First, determine the dimensions. Generally, the width is twenty times the cable's outer diameter, and the drum diameter is 10-15 times the cable's outer diameter.

2. Manufacturing the drum shaft (which is the rotating shaft for cable drums). First, make two circular disks to serve as the foundation for the cable drum.

3. Attach挡板to the outer side of the shaft and lay wooden boards on the inner side (for cable winding).

Note: Holes need to be drilled on the inner side of the cable drum and the side of the baffle to allow the cable to pass through (for fixation purposes).

Specific Approach:

1. Produce hub supports. Make two circular disks by subtracting the wood thickness from the hub diameter (so the diameter will be the hub's diameter after nailing the wood). The disks should be double the wood thickness (for added stability when attaching the backing plate). Drill a hole at the center for the shaft to pass through.

2. Fabricate baffles. Cut materials to the size of the baffles, make two circular baffles, and钉 on the outer side of the disk (with holes also drilled at the center of the axis).

3. Assemble the mandrel. Nail the boards onto the mandrel frame to form a cylindrical shape.

4. Nail the barrier boards.钉 the barrier boards onto both sides of the drum shaft, achieving the final shape.

In fact, most cable shafts are constructed with a steel frame. Even those that appear to be all-wooden are completely wrapped in wood on the outside of the steel frame. This is due to their sturdiness and cost-effectiveness.
