Refrigerated warehouses are typically categorized into four temperature ranges: high, medium-low, low, and ultra-low. Different types of ingredients require varying temperatures.
A: High-Temperature Cold Storage
High-temperature cold storage, also known as chilled storage, typically maintains temperatures above 0°C and is commonly used for preserving fruits, vegetables, eggs, wood preservation, and drying. The temperature is generally kept around 0°C, with the use of cold air blowers for cooling.
B. Low and Medium Temperature Cold Storage
Low and medium temperature cold storage, also known as high-temperature freezing cold storage, typically maintains temperatures at -18°C or below. It is primarily used for storing meats, aquatic products, and goods suitable for this temperature range.

C: Low-Temperature Cold Storage
Low-temperature cold storage, also known as frozen storage or refrigerated cold storage, typically maintains temperatures between -20°C and -30°C, using cold fans or freezing equipment to freeze food products.
D. Ultra-Low Temperature Cold Storage
Ultra-low temperature cold storage, with temperatures ≤ -30°C, is primarily used for rapid freezing of food and special industrial applications. Its market demand is slightly lower compared to the other three types.
