The reasons for the deformation of the boat engine's cutting blade are two-fold. Firstly, the engine cylinder head deforms due to long-term operation under high temperature, high pressure, thermal load, and alternating loads, leading to warping. The cylinder gasket is damaged from the water passage, causing a decrease in combustion chamber pressure, insufficient engine power, and water gushing out of the radiator filler cap. Secondly, if both the cylinder block and cylinder head deform, it is the reason for the damaged cylinder gasket.
The engine cylinder head of the lawn boat has warped and deformed due to long-term operation under high temperature, high pressure, thermal load, and alternating loads, causing the cylinder gasket to be damaged from the water passage, resulting in a decrease in combustion chamber pressure, insufficient engine power, and water leakage from the radiator filler neck. The repair method used for the lawn boat involves the following: Since there is no combustion chamber indentation on the cylinder head, there is no need to consider the change in combustion volume (the change in combustion chamber volume should generally not exceed 4% of the original volume). The cylinder head surface was machined using a flat milling method; a purple copper gasket (1.2 times the thickness of the water passage indentation) was installed at the water passage interface between the cylinder head and the cylinder body, replacing the rubber sealing ring on the cylinder gasket. Then, the cylinder gasket was installed, and the cylinder head bolts were securely fastened using a method of first cold-tightening and then hot-tightening.
