As more and more materials require ultra-fine pulverization, is the air jet mill the go-to equipment for all material pulverization needs?
Today, our editor-in-chief will briefly introduce the above issues.
From the perspective of material hardness, different hardness levels of materials require the selection of different ultra-fine pulverization equipment types.
The common hardness classification standard is the Mohs scale. The Mohs scale ranges from 1 to 10 levels, with higher numbers indicating higher material hardness.
When dealing with high-hardness materials such as those with Mohs hardness below 4, it's necessary to achieve both effective crushing and a low cost investment. Our suggestion is to opt for mechanical crushers and classified impact mills, which can meet these requirements.
If the material hardness is above level 4 and purity requirements for material crushing are necessary, along with high grading accuracy, the editor recommends choosing an air classifier mill.
