Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets, also known as "power magnets"; I won't bore you with the details again. Today, I want to share some knowledge you should know when purchasing powerful magnets. Some of you may be new to product development and haven't used magnets before, but this time, your new product requires them, and you're unsure how to choose. Here, Xiao Yin from Tongli Magnet Industry will give you a detailed introduction, hoping it will be helpful to you!

Firstly, we need to determine the required magnetic strength for the magnets we need, which will then inform us which brand of strong magnets to use. Of course, some friends may not be clear on this, but you can provide the weight of the object to be adsorbed, for example, if I only need to adsorb an object weighing 500g, then the required magnetic strength should correspond to a brand in the N45 range.

2. Coating for strong magnets is crucial to prevent rust and ensure the magnets remain functional. Magnets that are exposed externally and not coated will significantly reduce their lifespan.

3. The temperature requirements for common strong magnets are around 60 degrees Celsius, theoretically reaching up to 80 degrees, but the magnetic properties will gradually degrade once the temperature exceeds 60 degrees. There are also high-temperature resistant strong magnets that can withstand up to 220 degrees Celsius, although their magnetic pull is not exceptionally strong. The common strong magnets are labeled N35-N52, while the high-temperature resistant magnets are labeled N35M-50M (≤100°C), N30H-48H (≤120°C), N30SH-45SH (≤140°C), N28UH-35UH (≤160°C), and N28EH-35EH (≤180°C). (The higher the grade of the label, the better the performance, but also the higher the price. For detailed specifications, please consult us, and we will provide you with professional answers.)

4. Quantity, specifications, shape, and tolerance dimensions.

The fewer the quantity, the higher the price; the more complex the shape and specifications, the higher the processing cost; the stricter the tolerance control, the higher the processing cost.
