    MATWV/MATWL - Fiberglass Fabric PTFE Teflon Corrugated Steel Pipe

    Inner Layer: PTFE corrugated hose with glass fiber reinforced layer (anti-static inner layer available)

    Outer Layer: High-strength 304SS stainless steel woven mesh (316SS stainless steel woven mesh available upon request; please consult your sales advisor for details)

    Operating Temperature: -50℃ to +150℃; MATWV is the standard version; MATWL is the antistatic version (soft tube assemblies with DNVGL type approval can be ordered upon request)

    Applications


    TapeWrap® Series' MATWV & MATWL can be installed on all offshore projects and vessels requiring DNVGL certification. Suitable for demanding marine and offshore applications, they can transfer all common fluids and gases used in marine and offshore operations. The spiral rib design facilitates easier drainage and offers a smaller bending radius, allowing installation in narrower spaces. The MATWL has a resistance of R≦1MΩ, making it ideal for high flow transmission of high-resistive fluids to prevent charge accumulation risks. Not suitable for alkali metals and halogens that melt at high temperatures.

    Product Advantages: Availability

    TapeWrap® series MATWV & MATWL flame-retardant PTFE hoses with a dense corrugated structure, featuring glass fiber fabric covering and steel wire braided reinforcement layer. Designed with a specific corrugated structure for easier hose crimping, these hoses have obtained DNVGL type approval. When using approved DNVGL connectors and sleeves, the expected lifespan under high temperatures is approximately 150,000 pulse cycles. The new corrugation design enhances vacuum resistance, although the potential for vacuum may negatively impact the lifespan of the hose assembly.
