Designers often choose screw jack models based on weight during selection, but in actual application, screw jacks cannot be chosen solely based on weight. Instead, factors such as load capacity, lifting speed, effective stroke, efficiency, power source, actual operating conditions of the equipment, and safety factor should be thoroughly considered.
Firstly, determine the load capacity of the elevator. This carrying capacity not only includes static load data but also accounts for static, dynamic, and impact loads.Next is the hoist's lifting speed and speed ratio. You need to determine the required forward and lift speed for the actual operating conditions of the equipment.Choose according to your specific circumstances. Moreover, if the speed is too slow and does not meet the requirements, a decelerator is needed to achieve the predetermined speed.
The selected travel path should have a margin of safety in terms of operational usage, while fully considering factors such as the presence of protective tubes or dust-proof telescopic covers on the screw jack, the motion inertia of the screw shaft, and various top output components.
When the screw is subjected to an axial compressive load, please perform a stability check. Refer to the stability check calculations for details. If the critical load value is exceeded, increase the model size before recalculating.
Compare the required input power to the input power and select an appropriate power source.
Furthermore, we have confirmed the external connection methods for the elevator. This includes the connection of the input shaft and the connection of the output section.
The input shaft must be confirmed as motor direct connection, a coupling, or another type of connection. The output section should be determined as a flange, nut, fork pin, flat head pin hole, ball head, or other non-standard heads. This is regarding the usage conditions of the elevator, and to check if there are any special requirements from the customer, such as corrosion-resistant environments, high-temperature and high-pressure environments, or harsh outdoor conditions.
Select the appropriate elevator model and configuration that meets all these data requirements.
