Pipe materials used in coal mine shafts are categorized into: mine gas drainage pipes, mine drainage pipes, mine positive pressure air pipes, mine negative pressure air pipes, mine shotcrete pipes, and large diameter mine PVC pipes.
Pipe materials used in underground coal mines are mainly applied for:
1.瓦斯排放管道 for underground coal mines
2. Protection pipes for power cables, optical fiber communication cables, and signal cables in coal mine shafts.
3. Underground coal mine compressed air and ventilation piping
4. Pressure piping in high gas or dust environments.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) piping is a type of tubing used in coal mines, made of lightweight PVC-U material. The color of PVC piping is typically black. The density of PVC-U is one-tenth that of iron, making it easy to transport and install, and more importantly, cost-effective. PVC-U boasts excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, with good chemical properties. UPVC is a static-dissipative material that does not conduct electricity and is immune to electrolytic corrosion. In addition to its anti-static properties, PVC-U also has excellent flame-retardant properties, enhancing safety in underground coal mine operations. It is a dual-resistant piping material suitable for underground coal mine drainage, water supply, gas extraction, and ventilation. PVC-U has low resistance and high flow rates; its smooth inner wall minimizes fluid flow losses, and it is less prone to dirt buildup, making maintenance simple and cost-effective.
