A reinforced plastic composite pipe with steel wire mesh is a newly improved type of steel-reinforced plastic composite pipe, also known as SRTP pipe. This type of pipeline is made from high-strength plastic-coated steel wire mesh and thermoplastic polyethylene, with the steel wire mesh serving as the reinforcement for the polyethylene plastic pipe. The base material is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and a high-performance HDPE modified bonding resin is used to tightly bond the steel wire reinforcement with the inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene, resulting in excellent composite properties. Due to the high-strength steel reinforcement encapsulated within continuous thermoplastic, this composite pipe overcomes the respective drawbacks of steel and plastic pipes while maintaining their respective advantages. The steel wire mesh reinforced plastic composite pipe, utilizing superior materials and advanced production techniques, boasts enhanced pressure resistance. Additionally, it has excellent flexibility, making it suitable for long-distance buried water and gas pipeline systems. The pipe fittings used for the steel wire mesh polyethylene composite pipe are polyethylene electric fusion fittings. During connection, the internal heating element of the fittings melts the outer plastic layer of the pipe material with the inner plastic layer of the fitting, securely joining the pipe with the fitting.
