What are the techniques for anti-corrosion of cold drawn square steel?
Cold Drawn Square SteelThe Art of Preservation Techniques:
1. Steel material should be regularly inspected after storage; if corrosion is present, the corroded layer should be removed.
2. After general square steel is removed, no oiling is necessary on the surface. However, for square steel, alloy thin square steel plates, thin-walled tubes, and alloy square steel tubes, anti-rust oil should be applied to both the inner and outer surfaces before storage, and the rust should be removed.
3. Prior to storage, square steel materials should be protected from rain and impurities. For materials that have become damp or contaminated, different cleaning methods should be employed based on their properties. For materials with high hardness, a wire brush can be used, while for those with low hardness, materials such as cloth or cotton should be utilized.
