Liaoning Bean 21

Features and Characteristics:

The soybean variety has a semi-erect podding habit, with a compact plant shape, reaching 90-100 cm in height. It has 4-6 branches and 19-21 nodes on the main stem. The leaves are round, with gray-white pubescence and purple flowers. Pods are evenly distributed, with fresh pods being a vibrant green, containing a pod skin inside. Each plant can produce up to 150-200 pods, with most being three-bean pods. The seed coat is yellow, and the hilum is white. The weight of 100 seeds is 25-28 grams, with a fat content of 21.54% and a protein content of 42.58%. Pods are formed after about 90 days of growth, typically in Liaoning. Compared to other varieties, this variety yields an average increase of 20%-30% or more. In 2016, high-yield planting trials yielded up to 1,150 kg of fresh pods per acre. Suitable for fresh consumption of green soybeans in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other regions.
