Due to the environmental temperature and humidity in the server room not meeting national standards, the melamine surface of the static dissipative floor tiles has shrunk, leading to peeling and cracking. The real consequence is the inability to dissipate static electricity, which can cause equipment malfunctions and failures.
Due to the environmental temperature and humidity in the machine rooms in northern regions failing to meet the national technical standards, particularly during winter heating when the humidity does not reach the national standard, resulting in excessive dryness, melamine faced panels are accelerating in contraction, leading to peeling and cracking.
2. The real consequences of not meeting the national standard for humidity in server rooms: Any equipment in a server room that fails to meet anti-static requirements will result in severe adverse effects. The reason is that without humidity, static electricity cannot be conducted, meaning it cannot be released or leaked to the grounding rods, causing static electricity to permeate the entire server room. This can lead to equipment malfunctions and, in severe cases, system paralysis.
Section II: Regarding the environmental conditions for computer rooms and anti-static activity floorings, the following national standards are stipulated:
The Information Industry Department's Antistatic Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center has explicitly specified that the environmental temperature for using antistatic activity flooring should be 23°C, and the relative humidity should be between 45%RH and 55%RH.
2. The environmental temperature is: Grade A: 22±2°C, Grade B: 15-30°C, Grade C: 10-35°C; the humidity is: Grade A: 45%-65%, Grade B: 40%-70%, Grade C: 30%-80%; the standard communication rooms should generally meet Grade A standards.
